Born in 1998 in Lipetsk, Russia, Sonia Andrews is a visual artist mainly working with installation and ceramics. A graduate of the British Higher School of Art and Design in 2020 and the Joseph Bakshtein Institute of Contemporary Art in Moscow in 2022, she moved to France following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Themes central to her practice include the environment, manual labor, social and political interaction, chance and transformation.
Lives and works in Paris.
